I said Middle East, and you know very well the ramifications of propaganda spread around there by Iran or anyone else.
As I have found in many venues, when the other person just makes stuff up, the facts need a pretty big head start.
I'm hoping that the internet and other modern methods will get at least some of the truth to the Iranian people.
Ironically, of all the nations in that area, Iranians are actually one of the most likely to be open to democratic or pro-American ideas, and the dictatorship there is probably a lot more fragile than, say Iraq was. One reason I do not like the idea of military action against Iran at this point is that we actually stand a pretty good chance of encouraging a grass-roots change there using non-military means.
