Well, maybe you can figure out how the question would be worded to defuse that answer. Maybe the question actually was "If Adolf Hitler had been a nice, peaceful person who didn't massacre Jews, overrun Europe, or drop bombs on England, would you have invited him to Columbia?"
Conservative speakers (like Jim Gilcrist) and the ROTC are run out of Columbia on a rail, but pretty much any America-hater gets the red carpet. This is not news.
You think he would have invited P. W. Botha to Columbia for "intellectual inquiry?" Not in ten million years.
