Pakistan is a military dictatorship, the non-signatory to the non-proliferation treaty, the possessor of nukes and exporter of nuclear technology. And Bush and Co. love the guy, love his regime, support him 110%.

Bush and Co. can get along very well with that guy, while demonizing Syria and Iran. Face it, there is no ideological barrier to working with them that isn't a perfect demonstration of hypocrisy.

And the US crimes against humanity under Bush takes away any moral high ground. That's a real tragedy - the US is down in the dirt with the worst the world can produce.
