Whatever other problems he has, Musharaff's regime has been killing al Qaeda and Taliban, although sporadically and with a crappy military. Musharaff is high on al Qaeda's assassination list.

Iran and Syria are supporting our enemies in Iraq and elsewhere with money, personnel, training, weapons, and sanctuaries. Their leaders are not worried about Islamist terrorists taking them out.
