I'm in favor of the little kiddies see that propaganda piece, because over the long term it should educate them to a common large danger in modern living- a danger far, far, more dangerous than any affect produced by any global warming.
In a sense they get to live in a fairly harmless 1984. Now it might scare them a bit, but it shouldn't any more mental harmful than some horror flick. It should also demonstrate to the kiddies that educational institution don't care that much about them [which they don't] and are far more interested in pushing their agendas.
The film also demonstrates the level of intellect required to learn about Gore's "global warming"- the level just after kindergarten. It's no wonder that the Hollywood types thought it was profound and insightful.
But this brings up an interesting point, what are you going to show the kiddies that will give them some balance?
Clips of Hilter's speeches?
Or perhaps speeches of Ahmadinejad [particularly the parts about their not being gays in Iran {give the kids something to laugh about}].
You can't balance with science, because they lack the science education that would allow this to be meanful.
