Well, I debated about sharing this - as it might alter Earth history...but here goes nothing! ;-)
For planetary power banks, one simply needs to turn the Earth into a giant alternator. Circle the planet with magnetic, huge, alternating polarity poles. The poles are magnetically sequentially alternating between positive and negative and as the Earth rotates, the poles induce electrical current which is stored and distributed as needed throughout the world.
In this case the Earth becomes the rotor to the magnetosphere's stator.

Above is the Earth's magnetic tail. The secret is by using planetary movement, and converting it into endless electrical energy.
The next time I parallel universe hop - I'll try and get the ferromagnetic composition of the poles and the exact specifications of the system. Needless to say it was impressive. No nuclear waste, no pollution - the perfect planetary power solution.
