Space/Science » in reply to A late Moon maybe?

Certainly an Earth-impactor Moon formation theory stretches credulity.

Too many things had to go right for a Mars-mass body to create
the Moon by impact with Earth.
Right impact velocity, perfect impact angle, right mass, right time, etc.
Too many coincidences involved.
