How did all those Jovian moons form?
Especially the large ones? More than likely they formed with the gas giants at
the same time the planets were forming. I doubt the collision theory applies to
any of them.
The Spitzer data and its interpretation are intriguing, but I think without being
able to actually see what is in and going on in those systems, the interpretation
is rather premature.
Makes me wonder if some creationists are on those science teams, as they
love to declare Earth is uniuque in all the Universe. It and we are unique, but
I doubt we are the only ones.
