Hey, I'm the first to admit that to call me an amateur scientist would be a grave insult to amateur scientists everywhere...but still, my first question would be, does the time span mentioned in your post allow for any real statistical validity? I mean, the earth has been grumbling away for billions of years, and to try to spot a meaningful trend in just a few weeks worth of numbers...
