It does take some tuning.
Its default security levels are pretty high, and need to be individually adjusted for different security zones.
Right now, the only big XP problem I've got is that Outlook Express doesn't get along well with Norton's e-mail virus checking function. That may be because I've got a fairly old version of Norton, too.
