Bush is just plain nuts. Like trying to sell our shipping ports to the Saudis and farming out security. Selling our airports to questionable allies. And now THIS? It smacks of the Godd Ole Boys Club again. Get a defense contract. Sell it to the Pakistanis with an American "aide". Yeah, and maybe the "aide" pays for it, and holds the Pakistanis hostage. But never you mind, the defense contractors get paid and the planes get built.
Who's making money here? Oh, some of the good ole boys at the defense industry.
