Yeah, I guess it does depend on your definitions. You do realize that your statement can only be true if you simply define "Muslim" as a synonym for "terrorist"? As soon as you apply any nuance--a synonym for judgment--it collapses.
Not that it's particularly nuanced to note the statistic that more people in America have been killed by terrorists espousing rightwing beliefs than Muslim beliefs, since 9/11/2001. The classification is rarely a matter of a judgment call, either--terrorists want to send a message. A typical case is like the one last year in Las Vegas, in which the rightwing terrorists left a Gadsden flag draped on the body of the cop they murdered. Or like the attack on a Planned Parenthood clinic recently by an avowed Christianist zealot.
"All terrorists are Muslim"? Rob, I'm disappointed in you.
ER did a powerful job of addressing your final snarky statement about who were the terrorists in the Iraq war, so I won't dogpile on it. But he got it right. "Shock and awe" was not the Iraqi military's doctrine.
