Rob, The Big List is Exhibit A for the charge that rightwingers are bigots. Sorry, but if you hold up that list as your authority, you're holding up bigotry as your authority.
The list is a catalog of crimes committed by a person of the Muslim faith. It is not a list of terrorist acts.
If that’s your criteria for blaming terrorism on a religion, you’ve just implicated Christianity in most of the mass murderscrimes in Americahistory for the last century or soever.
You just proved my assertion that conservatives consider every crime committed by a Muslim to be a terrorist act, a truly epic case of bigotry. I have to believe you really do know what terrorism is, that it has a concrete meaning formalized in law, and that it is not "terrorism = crimes by Muslims". It's fear and hatred blinding you to reason.
Details: Muhammad and Malvo killed at random. They killed a Federal agent, the analyst, at random. That allowed the DOJ to hang an additional charge of technical terrorism on them because it could. That still does not make their killing spree an act of Muslim terrorism.
