The ratings are falling...because the American people are fickle. 24 is about to jump the shark....I believe it really is as simple as that.

Hollywood is at the mercy of a very demanding public...I am waiting for the idiot reality shows to tank...Survivor will probably be singing its' swan song soon...*yawn*...because they[ratings] are sinking FAST. I believe they are about to jump the shark this week with the premise of Fans vs. Past Survivors . Alot of other reality shows pop up because of an individual with a wild hair and money produces it....looks good in their portfolio...but MANY only make it one go around...never to be heard of again.

Night time game shows are making a resurgence.
Mark my words...the mini-series will make its' rounds again...there was a Lonesome Dove-ish 2 or 3 nighter on about a month back...I am sure this was a *test the waters* opportunity .
Night time soap operas are going to be around for a bit because they are geared for the *much younger than us* audience... All in all TV programs simply do not have the staying power they used too. It is 24s' turn...My attitude is I will just get the DVDs' of these programs anyway..I HATE story line interuptus.
