The eye is an interesting organ! It doesn't allow us to zoom in and out (2 lenses). I wonder if there are animals that can do it.
Eyes can't see anything but through the optical wavelengths....eyes can't see when it's too dark or too bright. Eyes are soo limited...and yet, they enabled humans to survive.
Could eyes have developed and acquired more capacities? Maybe they could have, but it is also possible better eyes could have prevented us from evolving to the point we are now.
When we don't have an example, we have to theorize.
Children have better eyes...but they don't always understand what they see or don't know what to inform us about when they see something we can't.
