I thought it was going to be the entire screenplay so I was crushed when it ended.
Bean was a sort of minor character in the original novel but was expanded in Ender's Shadow. He was a very tiny child (bean) who waws part of a genetic experiment and he was actually smarter than Ender. Oddly, he turned out to be a giant in adulthood. His giantism was caused by the genetic manipulation.
Fading memories, I'm going to have to re-read them.
