Ralph Nader is probably going for it again
Nader is supposedly going to announce Sunday on Meet the Press. The Republicans are financing the guy, of course. Since he doesn't have a chance in hell of being President, they want to make sure he steals enough votes from the Democratic candidate to give the election to the Republicans just like he did for bush in 2000.
