I have consistent and rational definitions for what leftist positions are, and they've held up pretty well over the years. Most of Obama's positions fit this category, and not surprisingly, considering his background.
The Left counts on being able to convince people that there's no such thing as "leftism," and that the political spectrum consists of a middle and a right wing.
