"Has anyone actually seen a mercury barometer lately?"

Have you seen a mercury thermometer lately? No? Gee, I wonder why. Because Mercury is extremely toxic, and the digital instruments are far more accurate in the measurement process than analogue instruments?

besides, if you had two neurons to rub together you would calculate out the equivalence to, say, vegetable oil and build your own damn barometer.

There is no grand conspiracy to present inaccurate numbers and tools WRT barometric pressure. Thats absurd.

Lastly- YOU are the person advancing the theory, the burden of proof is on YOU. I don;t have to prvide you anything. You have to put up, or at long last, shut the F up!

"Second, get me a science book that covers the barometric pressure at sea level and is over hundred years old."

Again, your responsibility, and you don't need one thats 100 years old, 65 will do by your theory.

1 mbar = 0.001 bar = 0.1 kPa = 1,000 dyn/cm²

Calculate the distance 1,000 dyn/cm² should move a fixed weight of vegetable oil in a tube. That will be a mbar just the same as if your fluid was mercury. Walk down to a beach. Take a measurement.

Pssst: You are having such a hard time finding data because your theory is full of holes and you don't understand the first thing about science, let alone reason.
