I'm not in any position to evaluate its veracity, but I sense it carries great insight into a part of the nation I, and most of my countrymen, know very little about.
I would be very interested in your comments on my post, also in response to Robert's "It's tempting to just say they're crazy". Our posts both represent the last threads of ancient migrations across the Americas, the last traces, as they dissolve in the melting pot.
I concur with your suspicions of the possible Mormon connection to the trouble in Oregon. I saw on the news that one of the spokesmen for this group goes by the nom de guerre of "Moroni"
