No, I wasn't trying to make you worry more, unless worrying means keeping another eye out for the ones you love.
The honest truth is one: all we have is one another. Meaning that only your relationship with your dearest ones will at the end shape their behaviour. My dad, before I left Italy to start my american dream, left me with one last pearl of wisdom of his:

"try your best, son. Stay on top of things. But know that if you fall, there will be a golden pillow catching you, because we love you too much"

Granted that felt like I always had a way out =) But it turned out that from that moment my goal was to make sure I never needed that golden pillow. I was closed to it a couple of times, but got back on my feet.

I can only hope that as they grow up, my kids have that same feeling and I have the resources and health to become the golden pilow.
