Even common sense doesn't help
You can raise kids to be realistic and cognizant, but peer pressure and curiosity often kicks in. I watched the local news last night and found out some 12 year old kid had accidently strangled himself with a belt. It's the new high....the "choking game".
I wonder why the rise in more deadly and dangerous games among teens and pre-teens in America. Is it because we have glorified war and danger, making them more immune to dangerous games? I wouldn't be a bit surprised it has something to do with the media and it's obsession to broadcast the reality of death and torture that has corrupted young <minds.>
