Right on Bowser and it can all be blamed on the foolish War on Drugs. I have read that over 80% of our crimes against property are drug related – people robbing to get the money to buy drugs, and as much as I hate the idea of people using do I *really* care of some junky in the Bowery sticks a needle in his arm – No I don’t. Just leave me out of it.
If it were up to me I would empty the drug lockers of all the evidence rooms of all the police forces into giant snow piles and let them all ‘have at it’. If you want to you should be allowed to screw yourself up. That’s what it means to live in a free country.
Make drugs available through prescriptions and the drug trade would end overnight and then this crazy prison building boom would end.
