We are still in our infancy regarding a true understanding of the relationships between of space and time.
This topic makes my mind wander...there must be a faster way to traverse galaxies (and the universe) than just sheer propulsion - everything can only go so fast (even though time does slow down). Perhaps someday we will have a greater mastery of space/time.
