While Campbell has been with the project since the beginning and is an important member of the team, it was a newcomer to the team, Frank Jordan who has been credited with finding the emprical formula which is being used to predict the amount of anomaly in the most recent Rosetta earth flyby.
I had read a press release earlier and mis-remembered it and transposed Campbell's name with Jordan's as both were mentioned along with the other three members.
