Why do you think they lobbied so hard for the "Patriot Act".
And for the spying legislation? And against the torture ban? Do you doubt for a moment that Bush could throw you in the slam at his whim, forever, without charges, in secret? Do you think he fought for that legislation just to let it sit? Will that pass any smell test?
That world you inhabit, of blogs, Limbaugh and alternative news sources reminds me of Reagan's astrology. Just because some other people who believe it doesn't make it true. If it doesn't match reality you may want to reexamine it.
Well, maybe you wouldn't. But most people would.
