Every observed experiment, by the laws of quantum mechanics, must leave signatures upon the system that has been observed- so, yes, this current zone and all it interacts with, all it will ever interact with, has been altered. That is true for any posting here.

here you are confused- there are no 'aborted' timelines, just otherwhens- you need only examine the dead zones more carefully to see that they are still quite viable- with all the proper linkings. If you think about it you can see how the confusion is explained by Schroedinger's cat- or more accurately by Schroedinger's mouse button, just one of the quantum fluctuations that had to be accounted for. The accounting was everything!
