The article was changed, and from what I can see it was changed in response to this activist.
I don't know how else you interpret "Have a look in 10 minutes and tell me you are happier--we have changed headline and more," after a back-and-forth in which the writer insisted no changes were necessary.
Apparently the BBC is saying they also got feedback from the WMO. I wouldn't mind seeing a transcript of that, too, but apparently there isn't one.
