Makes ya proud, doesn't it. Give 'em a weapon and let 'em kick down the doors of Iraqis. They're naturals. The US is looking more and more like ancient Rome in more areas than the Empire.

(I'm not saying they can't be good soldiers, I am suggesting that there is a strong enough tendency for the past to be prologue that, as in other times, enlisting folks of demonstrated bad character is not wise. But Bush is desperate.)
