You have to remember that most of the people I know personally in business are entrepreneurs in the space biz, including good friends. That's probably a different crowd than you're used to, and not typical of the breed.
Keep in mind that without healthy commerce and the surplus wealth generated by profits there wouldn't be much left in the way of scientists, artists, or college professors.
