Ironically, that rhetorical question
isn't as nonsensical as one may believe.
Realize that the red-shift for objects
that faraway indicates relativistic
velocities approaching "c".
I mean those atoms and molecules
and plasma [the cosmic building blocks] that are/were beginning to form quasars way out there are speeding away from us
at red-shift velocities faster than say
99.99999999999999... [etc] percent of
the speed of light maybe experiencing only
six days of time according to Einstein's theory
of relativity, while we experience 13.7 billion years.
At least in theory.
Of course we have yet to see those early ' cosmic building blocks'.,
they are so far away....near the beginnng of time.
Time dillation effect.

13.7 billion years in 6 days?
