You obviously don't know anything about economics.
If there are more workers than there are jobs, people will be willing to work for less money, and they'll be less likely to cause trouble for their employers, to agitate for higher wages, or demand safer or cleaner working conditions. This will lead in turn to higher returns on investment, bigger profits, and lower prices. Everybody wins, except for those who are too stupid or lazy to adapt.
That's how free markets are supposed to work.
