In my experience around here the tendency has been for the radical left, many of whom couldn't take it and quit after the liberal element grew to be more than just Lindy and me, to do the circle jerk thing.

One of them would say "algore sucks". The next would add, "Blows chunks!" A third would say that he's a liar and a fourth would claim that Gore really was benefiting from global warming.

Then tech would come in with a two page story to the effect that it's Gore's perverted self-image which causes him to seek the adoration of stupid Democrats. Then TB would cite a study which showed definitively that most Democrats believe exactly what is outlined by the Communist Manifesto and Lee would claim the weaker always want the same rights as the stronger, thereby weakening the entire race.

The point is that liberals, in my experience, tend to leave the battle between a liberal and a conservative to each other while the neocons love a circle jerk.

Also, there is no sense talking to TB or Lee on matters of politics or religion - they learned all they will ever know by the age of 11, and are terrified of new facts. Refuse to read history, and slavishly tout the party line.

I'll miss you should you leave. I don't always agree with you, always enjoy your posts, and don't always respond - you say it well.
