And no one of them has has done anything other than hide in the shadows
or come out to a few very questionable individuals.
Are these beings cowed by the governments? Do they all follow a version
of the Prime Directive? Or do they just know better than to really get
involved with us?
And why did this guy go on Letterman of all people/shows? They're all
lacking in basic science knowledge, but Letterman is both anti-science
and anti-technology (he once referred to computers as tools of the
Devil). And they didn't let him show the video.
Just another reason why SETI and science in general keeps these
kind of stunts at really long telephone poll's lengths.
