I was just looking up the energy released in reactions between Group 1 elements - lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium and caesium - and water...

The articles all hedged on the lifetime of the 'power source' so I suspect it is consumed in the process...

It is shocking the press is hyping this, but then, there are people that will believe any crap they are fed...
