Everything ends, stars, days, and ourselves as we are made of stuff from the stars.
Even what we leave behind will soon vanish anyway.
Religious faith is not an option.
A man can be afraid of death but what is he but a lump of meat?
The soul is merely a story the brain tells itself. We do not produce thoughts, thoughts produce us..
And better, there's not even the slightest proof we're not alone in the universe!
Our search for extra-terrestrial intelligence (SETI) is mostly a search for ourselves and the conviction we're important enough it happened elsewhere too. We should understand that everything that happened and lead to us being here was so unlikely to happen (an accumulation of extremely unlikely event) that because it did happen to us, can statistically not repeat itself within the universe in space and time.
We are very probably all alone.
