re: On the other hand
Life is a greater holism.
I can’t accept that life was so unlikely to happen here on earth. We only know of life as it exists here on earth and until recently we would have never thought life could exist at the bottom of a ocean around volcanic vents.
Do we really have all the statistics of the universe to make such a judgment that life could only have become possible here on earth and not somewhere else?
If we are made of stars and with the mind boggling number of stars in the universe, it’s hard for me to grasp statistically, that we are alone and only one star and its rocky planet managed to make it possible for life to evolve as we know it.
