The Obama movement has a whole new level of followers that have now clearly, completely, embraced him as the central part of their future lives at this moment in time. If Obama were to suddenly disappear - hundreds of thousands of rabid leftists would be borderline suicidal.
That's not healthy & that's not exactly the sort of support/supporter Bush was generating after 9/11.
Who said the left hates Religion? They simply have transposed all their "faith" into a political figure to worship...and to guide them to salvation.
