I know your plate is already full, but I can't recommend this book enough. My post on flame revived the lead character Dagny, the railroad heiress who struggles against a declining societyoblivious it is hellbent on self-destruction.

Lots of people dismiss the book out of hand without having actually read it. It's a monster of a book, at some 1075 pages, but almost 75 percent of those who actually does take the time to read it - really enjoy it and claim it has changed their outlook on a lot of things. After over 50 years as a top-seller it's on many folks "must read" lists.

Incidentally TB has a small role in the book as Ragnar Danneskjöld. So if you are walking along and out of the blue a guy appears with a bar of gold for you - that's TB.

I'm in there too - the guy Galt...who gives a 50 page sermon (like one of my longer posts) near the end of the book and who invented a new type of motor but keeps it from the world because it would be used to empower those whose efforts destroy productive society.

You'll find some of the other Zoners in there as well, but I'll let you discover them on your own.
