Thank you Tom for your calmness during the results. At least you're not a sore loser.
You'll have to learn to live with new policies that go against your grain for awhile.
You'll have to adapt to this new change, and I hope you learn that "attitudes" towards hope can be beneficial for all. Obama ASKED for help to rebuild America and I'll bet he gets it in spades.
For the hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Americans who felt hog-tied with Bush and his policies, and were worn down by his threats, intimidation and a run on criminal expansion; may we get back to morality and lawfullness. May we reach out and help EACH OTHER. I wouldn't be a bit surprised that clinics are set up and funded by the people and their taxes and that doctors and dentists will sign up in droves to treat people without health insurance as their way to 'give back". Professors will start tutoring low income kids for free, just to wear the badge of the new "Amer-I-Can". High end restaurants and food centers will find ways to eliminate waste and give their day old food to centers that will deliver it to the poor and elderly.
THEY will be the new true blue patriots of America.
