Unfortunately, similar polls of Republicans would show the same level of ignorance. The Republican counterparts would easily know about Aires and Rev Wright and Michele Obama's comment on being proud of her country- for the first time. Many Republicans would be able to recite the pledge to increase taxes on people making over $250,000/year but they would not be able to cite other differences in the candidates economic plans.
Yah gotta get used to the idea that, right or wrong, Obama is the next Teflon president.
