I find myself in a minority.
I love spaceflight, I watch space-walks religiously, I run a forum dedicated to spacecraft imagery, I think SS1 is the single most brilliant piece of design the air has ever played host to...
And I can't stand Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon this, etc etc. Space based sci-fi leaves me utterly cold - can't stand it.
Lost, Sarah Connor Chronicles, I enjoy those quite a bit, but I really don't like Star Trek, and I find Star Wars to be so utterly dreadfull in terms of performances, script, and use of effects, that I find them unwatchable - to date the only film I have ever walked out of and asked for a refund was Episode One.
I enjoyed 'Voyage' and 'Titan' by Stephen Baxter - but K-S-R's 'Red Mars' ... not so much.
Surely I'm not alone - a fan of Sci, but not of Sci-Fi.
