Cuba is driving around in 50 yr. old cars because the United States of America has had politicians with shit for brains. We created an impossible economic arena for Cuba instead of saying, "OK, you are the defacto government; let's see how we can work together." You don't cave but you do concede fact.
Don't get me wrong; I don't like Castro and never have. But then I don't like a lot of world leaders. However, they are none of my business. You got a defacto government; you work with them if you can. If you can't, then that's the way it goes. But dammit, you at least try. Instead, we told Cuba, it's our way or no way. They gave us the Highway. It's full of potholes.
