1) Perhaps you could do something similar for the years the Democrats were in power showing us the death, destruction, and abuse of our Constitution that the liberals caused.

Nice dodge. If that's the way you want to work it, let's go back and look at why the Democrats took things back in 2006. As I recall, it was mostly about Abramoff, page scandals, "macaca," and the other--how did you put it? "Pockets of corruption and occasional sex scandals?"

I have a long-held set of philosophical views, but I'm not dense enough to think a majority of Americans have the same philosophy I do, except maybe where a few points touch. The same is true for the Left, and they need to remember that. I believe Obama is learning this as I write this. There's a reason MoveOn isn't on the speed dial any more.

I don't agree with your main premise, that we are on the brink of collapse. I'm 55 years old, and I've listened to leftists predicting our imminent doom my entire adult life. Remember, I was around during Nixon and Reagan, too, and back then it was all about Reagan starting a nuclear war with the Soviets any minute.
