And that's a truth!

I couldn't believe what was happening.
I waited and waited for us to join an enlightened and progressive age, one where we got smart about everything. A cleaner environment, cleaner more efficient cars, rule of law and peace. And what happened? We went backwards with Bush by throwing out all environmental controls we had worked so hard for ....for decades, in favor of giving the highest profit margins to the largest polluters. And allowing car manufacturers to build bigger and better gas burners while their slick oil buddies made fortunes, and lied about it.

Corruption was rampant more than any other other administration, except perhaps his fathers, where they got their first real toehold.
And peace?
No they LIED to take us to war, hid their reasons, refused thorough investigations and brought this once great country to it's knees financially while all their cronies fared really well.

You point out all these things to Tom and he just blows you off like he does everyone else. He's insulated from all our reasoning. Probabaly insulated financially as well. Do you ever think he could be on someone's payroll and refuses to even let ONE of his cherished concepts go because of an oath he took years ago?

I don't mind you showing him up, just don't let it get your blood pressure up.
We all know what happened. Thankfully most of America does too. It just took most 8 years to wake up.
