Now some things are making more sense to me. It wasn't the geese, they were but tools of the imperialists. But their protected status, they fact they are able to slip back and forth across the border unimpeded, uninspected, without documentation makes them especially suseptible to exploitation by those whose interests are inimicable to peace-loving peoples.
Makes my point as to the nefarious nature of our northern neighbors. They will use a protected species for their own narrow geopolitical purposes.
After all, it's not the geese who owns the oil up there. I don't think we should go to war over geese.
But after we surrender I propose the Canada Goose become our new national bird.
In the meantime I believe we should repeal that Act and make 'em keep their geese at home. Patrol the borders and blow those trying to sneak over clean out of the air.

Well! I happen to agree. It's not the geese, it's the "Canadian" part of the equation.
