I don't think you'd find an article such as the one you believe was the source of my inspiration in The Weekly Standard. Maybe, but my time with it hasn't produced it. One is a rather serious tome, the other a very credible, humorous article. I, frankly, enjoyed that article and wish I'd thought of some of his phrases.
One of them I would not have used, nor would it be found in TWS, is the term "BUSHITLER". I suspect that is a creation of a very young person or childish adult. I have certainly thought of the Bush and Hitler parallels but noticed when I write them nothing else said in that post is seen. And people who write that sort of article, myself included, tend to be wrapped rather loosely, whereas my impression of TWS is that the contributors are rather tightly wound. I wouldn't hang around that site.
I do check with "Pravda", also, and then the more conventional news sources with a strong dose of material not subject to the censorship extant in America. I noticed an article in Pravda very, very similar to what Rush Limbaugh, et al, would have done. I glance at Rush from time to time. I do not read Conservative blogs, though I have glanced at one or two in the past. A sip, a taste, and much like some with cheap wine, I spit it out. The foolishness, cruelty and total lack of regard for humanity in those irritates me too much.
So, there's your two strikes. Plagarism and hanging with you, Cheney, et al. Heh, heh, trust me on these. Or don't. That would be your loss. May you have the strength to endure it.
Arf
That's the second time you've raised that matter.
