Now I don't give them the chance to cut in. I'll hang out straddling both lanes to prevent people from going around. It becomes contagious. You start seeing others do the same thing behind you.

One other tactic I employ when playing courtesy police is when you're driving down a highway in heavy traffic and you stay to the left lane where the traffic should be the fastest and you get these jerks that see these openings on the right and try to go around everyone. It's the one time I'll tailgate to prevent them forcing their way in front of you. As soon as they get caught by the slow traffic ahead of them I open the gap back up. I've played with someone like that for 40 miles before. What's really funny is when someone else lets them in ahead of you and they feel they've escaped. Eventually their tactic fails them again and you end up cruising by them.
