I hope I don't have to have a full plan by tomorrow morning with
PowerPoint slides.
The Middle East hasn't solved its problems in 5,000 years, so I say let
them be and guard our boarders in case they decide to spread their
problems over on us or our allies.
I am tired of trying to be a "helpful" American only to get it thrown back
in our faces or taken advantage of. Afghanistan will only change when
the whole society is either transformed or removed. Then it won't be
Afghanistan any more, will it?
Just hope they and every similar culture realizes it is no longer 1300 BC
before the rest of the world either runs them over or leaves without them.
What's that old phrase, the meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us
are going to the stars? Sounds good to me.
