You probably don't remember that little first hand story from the guy who worked with Z.
If you want a rough mass estimate for life support for manned Mars flight you can look at the
IBMP test chamber. Then compare with Z.'s numbers.
They were looking for volunteers to be locked up for several months in it.
If you really want to help manned Mars flight, why don't you volunteer for that?
